Abstract

The invention discloses a method and device for processing a configuration transaction. The method includes the steps of: when configuring a network device, creating a current configuration transaction which is used for configuring the network device; judging whether wrong configuration operation exists in the current configuration transaction; and if wrong configuration operation exists in the current configuration transaction, executing rollback operation used for returning the network device to an initial state which refers to the state of the network device before configuration of the current configuration transaction. The method for processing the configuration transaction solves the technical problem in the prior art that processing cost of a configuration transaction of a network device is relatively high.
