Problems solved by technology

Among these relatively mature and highly commercialized meshless technologies, SPH is more suitable for describing the flow behavior of materials with strong fluidity and materials, while DEM has the problem of insufficient accuracy in evaluating the strength of materials.

Embodiment 1

[0029] Using EFGM to simulate the broken windshield glass in a car collision, the specific steps are as follows:

[0030] S1. The windshield uses 4-node tetrahedron to preset the background grid;

[0031] S2. Using integral modeling, endowing windshield glass with a diffuse constitutive structure of plastic damage failure, and using the cohesive element fracture method to determine how much force is applied between discrete points, when detachment occurs, that is, the effect of fracture is expressed;

[0032] S3. Use the calibration test for the windshield constitutive parameters of the corresponding model and the parameters of the EFGM algorithm itself: if the simulation result is consistent with the calibration test, proceed to step S4; if the simulation result is inconsistent with the calibration test, adjust the windshield constitutive parameters and EFGM algorithm itself parameters;

[0033] In order to keep the benchmarking simulation consistent with the test, it is nec...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for simulating the break of a windscreen by using EFGM in a car crash. The method specifically comprises the steps of presetting background grids of the windscreen by using an N-surface body unit; adopting an integral modeling, endowing the windscreen with a dispersed constitutive model with disabled plastic damage, and judging that how much force is suffered between discrete points by using a cohesive fracture method when separation occurs; calibrating the windscreen constitutive parameter of the corresponding car model and EFGM algorithm parameter by a calibration test; assembling the windscreen in a whole car model, performing simulated analysis on the whole car crash, and if the simulation process and the result of the whole car crash meet expectant truth, evaluating the damages of parts; and if the simulation process and the result of the whole car crash do not meet the expectant truth, adjusting the model. According to the method, the cohesive fracture rule is introduced into the EFGM, so that the defect that the traditional FEM depends on the grids is avoided, thus ensuring the random character of the crack path, and more truly expressing material performance and restoring the crash event.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of automobile collision modeling, in particular to a method for simulating the breakage of windshield glass by using EFGM in automobile collision. Background technique [0002] The application of CAE technology in the automotive industry has been gradually improved. From the design of auto parts to the performance analysis of the whole vehicle; from the rigidity of the car structure to the analysis of the internal and external flow field; a great guiding role. Especially in the field of automobile collision, CAE analysis has formed a series of mature NCAP and other specifications, which provide detailed analysis guidance in vehicle collision events. However, at the present stage, in the CAE simulation of vehicle collision events, FEM is the main method. Although FEM has the advantages of high efficiency, stability and high accuracy, it also has some unavoidable defects. In the simulation evaluation of brittle and s...
