Problems solved by technology

However, TPE1 cannot perceive it, and currently there is no technical solution to update it. Therefore, the MS-PW path information saved by TPE1 is wrong at this time.
[0009] To sum up, in the existing RFC6073, although the method of carrying the MS-PW path information through the Mapping message is defined, for the scenario where the MS-PW has SPE redundancy, on the one hand, the path of the MS-PW may not be obtained information, on the other hand, the obtained MS-PW path information is wrong
This will undoubtedly lead to errors in the subsequent MS-PW loop detection and operation, administration and maintenance (OAM) detection, so that the correct deployment of the MS-PW OAM mechanism cannot be guaranteed

Embodiment Construction

[0058] In order to make the object, technical solution and advantages of the present invention more clear, the embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings. It should be noted that, in the case of no conflict, the embodiments in the present application and the features in the embodiments can be combined arbitrarily with each other.

[0059] Figure 5 It is a flow chart of the method for obtaining pseudowire path information in the present invention, such as Figure 5 Shown, the inventive method comprises:

[0060] Step 500: When the source TPE needs to know the path information of the entire MS-PW, request the path information of the MS-PW via the SPE.

[0061] Before this step, it also includes: completing the establishment of the MS-PW path through end-to-end pseudo-wire emulation (PWE3, Pseudo-Wire Emulation Edge-to-Edge) signaling interaction between the TPE and the SPE. Among them, the PWE3 signali...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method and a device for acquiring MS-PW (Multi-Segment Pseudo-Wire) path information, an SPE (Switch-PE) and a TPE (Terminating-PE). The method comprises the steps that: when a source TPE needs to acquire path information of an entire MS-PW, the MS-PW path information is requested via the SPE; by using a current pseudo-wire segment which is practically used for forwarding as a relay, the SPE continuously forwards the MS-PW path information request up to a target TPE; and the target TPE returns node information of the target TPE to the source TPE via the SPE, and the source TPE acquires the MS-PW path information. By the technical scheme provided by the invention, a current MS-PW effective working path is timely acquired so as to ensure correct deployment of an MS-PW OAM mechanism.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to end-to-end pseudowire simulation technology, in particular to a method and device for obtaining pseudowire path information, SPE and TPE. Background technique [0002] The end-to-end Pseudo-Wire Emulation (PWE3, Pseudo-Wire Emulation Edge-to-Edge) protocol is to provide tunnels on the packet switching network (IP / MPLS) in order to simulate some services such as frame relay (FR, Frame Relay), asynchronous Layer 2 virtual private network (VPN) protocols such as transmission mode (ATM, Asynchronous Transfer Mode), Ethernet (Ethernet) service, time division multiplexing mode (TDM), synchronous optical network / synchronous digital hierarchy (SONET / SDH). Through the PWE3 protocol, the traditional network and the packet switching network can be interconnected, so as to realize resource sharing and network expansion. The PWE3 protocol is an extension of the Martini protocol (see RFC4447), including optimizing the signaling overhead, sp...
