Abstract

The invention discloses a motor vehicle multipath intersection passing method through disperse signal control and organization. The passing method comprises following steps: S1, successively numbering inlet channels of n paths of signal controlled intersections as 1, 2,..., i,..., n; S2, by use of internal space of the intersections, transforming each inlet of the n paths of signal controlled intersections into a micro-type intersection formed by three inlet channels; S3, using the inlet channel I of the original n paths of signal controlled intersections as one inlet channel of the micro-type intersection, wherein the inlet channel is formed by n-1 paths of lanes and is lead to rest n-1 outlet directions of the n paths of signal controlled intersections; and S4, forming the other two inlet channels of the micro-type intersection by a connection line of an inlet channel i and the adjacent inlet channel i-1 and a parallel line of the connection line as well as a connection line of an inlet channel i and the adjacent inlet channel i+1 and a parallel line of the connection line. According to the invention, average saturation and average vehicle delay of the intersection are reduced; passing ability of the inlet channels is improved; and queuing length is reduced.
