Abstract

A radio communication system for suppressing interference from a small cell to a mobile terminal the handover of which is suppressed comprises a mobile terminal, a first cell, and a second cell. The radio communication system comprises a handover suppression unit which, on the basis of the moving speed of the mobile terminal, the cell type of the first cell, and the cell type of the second cell, suppresses the handover of the mobile terminal from the first cell to the second cell. The radio communication system further comprises an interference suppression unit which suppresses interference from the second cell to the mobile terminal the handover of which is suppressed.
