Abstract

The invention provides a packaging assembly comprising a box (4) having a main body (20) comprising a bottom wall (24), a top wall (22), a front wall (26) and Rear walls (28), which delimit an inner volume of the tray (6), in which the tray is held. The tray has a peripheral flange (14) and is closed by means of a flexible membrane (16) releasably secured to the flange. An opening (34) in the top wall allows the membrane to be peeled off while the tray is in the box. The bottom wall, the top wall, the front wall, the rear wall define a tubular sleeve, the tray flange (14) is located below the top wall and the front wall has a support area (26a), wherein A support structure is located below a portion of the flange. The tray (14) can be inserted into the partially assembled box (4) from one side.
