Disclosed is a package for storing a product, such as smokeless tobacco, which includes, inter alia, a container that has opposing upper and lower surfaces, and a container sidewall that extends between the upper and lower surfaces to define an interior for storing a plurality of products. The upper surface of the container has an apex intermediate a first region and a second region and the container sidewall defines an opening sized and configured to release at least one of the products. The package also includes an outer cover having an upper section and a cover sidewall depending from the upper section. The outer cover is configured to retain the container and selectively seal the opening. The container pivots about the apex to transition between open and closed positions.

The invention provides a dispensing container including an outer casing having an open end, a top, a bottom, sidewalls extending between the top and bottom, and an interior compartment, wherein the outer casing further includes a depressible button in the top or bottom and at least one projection adjacent to the depressible button that extends into the interior compartment; and an inner tray slidably received within the interior compartment of the outer casing. A package particularly for packaging food products, comprising an inner package sheet, which individually wraps each product of the package and is composed of a coextruded film constituted by two outer layers of a styrene-butadiene copolymer resin and by a central layer chosen among polyethylene, polypropylene and other plastic material, and an outer package sheet, which wraps around a set of products contained in their respective inner packages and is composed of a high-barrier film coupled to a paper film.

A disposable package for consumable contents includes a container having a surrounding wall of upstanding, generally flexible material extending from a container bottom to a wide mouth defined by a rim formation of greater relative thickness than said surrounding wall, said mouth being of greater than two inch minimum horizontal dimension and being about as wide as the horizontal cross-section of a top of the container. An article of manufacture includes (a) a three-dimensionally shaped edible candy including chocolate; and (b) a hollow container including a wall defining an exterior surface and an interior surface, the interior surface defining a hollow portion having a shape which substantially conforms to the three-dimensional shape of the candy for releasably securing the candy within the hollow shape of the container, wherein the container includes at least two portions removably secured to one and the other for releasably securing the candy, and further wherein the container includes a plastic material, such as a thermoformed plastic material.

The present invention relates to a packaging comprising two containers (1, 2) each having an open end, and two lids. The two lids are a male lid (3) and a female lid (4) each having a topside and a underside and being adapted to close the open end of a container. The male lid (3) comprises a protrusion (7) and the female lid (4) comprises a cavity (8) adapted to receive the protrusion of the male lid. The protrusion (7) of the male lid has an edge (12) circulating at least a part of the protrusion at varying heights of the protrusion, and the cavity (8) comprises a ledge (13) mating the edge of the male lid, so that when the protrusion is received in the cavity the edge of the male lid abuts the ledge of the cavity. This results in that the two containers (1, 2) are combined into a single packing when the lids (3, 4) are arranged to close the opening of the containers and the protrusion (7) is received in the cavity (8). The packaging may be divided into two halves each comprising a container closed with a lid by turning movement of one of the lids relatively to the other lid resulting in the two lids being pushed away from each other by abutment between the ledge and the edge.

According to the candy jar, the infrared sensor is arranged on the lower portion of the jar body; when the candy jar is used, a user places one hand at the discharging opening, the infrared sensor is triggered, the baffle in the discharging groove is opened, and then candies fall onto the hand along the discharging opening; in this way, the candy jar is hygienic and convenient to use.
