Abstract

The invention discloses an SDN framework-based flow table configuring and delivering method and system. The method comprises the steps of receiving configuration information of a floating IP, wherein the configuration information comprises a binding relationship of the floating IP and a network adapter ID of a corresponding virtual machine; determining, by using an SDN framework, whether the virtual machine runs according to the configuration information; and if the virtual machine runs, configuring and delivering a flow table to a virtual exchange corresponding to the virtual machine. According to the method, the flow table is configured and delivered to the virtual exchange corresponding to the virtual machine by using the SDN framework according to running condition of the configuration information in the virtual machine; due to use of characteristics of efficiency, programming and good expandability of the SDN framework, the learning cost of the user and configuration complexity are lowered to a great extent, and great flexibility is ensured, so that the virtual exchange can process the packet according to the flow table, the virtual machine realizes a south-north communication function through the floating IP, and the user experience is improved.
