Abstract

The invention discloses a patent foramen ovale plugging device. The patent foramen ovale plugging device is characterized by comprising a woven mesh, a plugging device fixing rivet and a central connecting part. The patent foramen ovale plugging device is made of degradable materials so that the plugging device can be degraded and absorbed in vivo 2-3 years after the surgery, and therefore surgical treatment which is needed after a possible heart disease occurs is not affected; and resilience performance of the plugging device and fixation of the plugging device relative to the interatrial septum are greatly improved through the fixing rivet structure and the central connecting part. By means of the patent foramen ovale plugging device, the requirement on the mechanical property of the materials is reduced to the maximum extent, and therefore most absorbable materials can be applied in the field of plugging devices. The patent foramen ovale plugging device further comprises diaphragm baffles which are beneficial for endothelialization of the plugging device in the initial implantation period.
