An image sensor pixel that includes a photoelectric conversion unit supported by a substrate and an insulator adjacent to the substrate. The pixel includes a cascaded light guide that is located within an opening of the insulator and extends above the insulator such that a portion of the cascaded light guide has an air interface. The air interface improves the internal reflection of the cascaded light guide. The cascaded light guide may include a self-aligned color filter having air-gaps between adjacent color filters. Air-gaps may be sealed from above by a transparent sealing film. The transparent sealing film may have a concave surface over the air-gap to diverge light that cross the concave surface into the air-gap away from the air-gap into adjacent color filters. A pedal mechanically connected to the lift bar moves the lift bar in a downward motion to pull the lift rods down thereby rotating the L-shaped bracket about the pin to extend each L-shaped bracket in an upward motion to open each top door.

The present invention relates to a puncture seal for sealing a blood vessel having a puncture opening in a body of a human being or an animal. An improved high impact metal clubhead with a unique reinforced composite face wall, increased radius of gyration, and a positive lift air foil surface contour. The composite face wall includes an impact supporting wall rigidified by a pattern of integrally cast reinforcing bars that extend forwardly, rather than rearwardly, from the supporting wall. The reinforced supporting wall is covered by a very hard plastic ball striking insert that is cast in situ over the supporting wall. The increase in radius of gyration is accomplished by extending the heel and toe portions of the clubhead along the face wall further from the geometric center of the head, beyond present day parameters for high impact clubheads. And the positive lift is effected by contouring the top wall of the clubhead downwardly and rearwardly from the base wall more severely almost to the plane of the sole plate, and flattening the rear wall so it is almost co-planar with the sole plate. This configuration results in the top wall being equal to or greater in length than the combined length of the sole plate and rear wall in a vertical plane extending through the clubhead along the target line. The laws of continuity of matter and the air foil shape of the top wall eliminate the negative lift or drag in today's "woods" and offer the possibility of some positive lift to increase ball overspin.

A hydroponic growing unit having a base shaped to hold liquid, the outer periphery of the base defined by an outer, vertical base wall. The unit has a vertical plant support wall forming a generally annular enclosure, the support wall mounted on the wall of the base to extend above the base and to enclose space above the base. There is at least one opening in the support wall providing access to the enclosed space and to the inner surface of the support wall. The opening is normally closed by at least one wall panel forming part of the support wall. The unit has vertical light means mounted in the center of the annular enclosure. Planting block support means are arranged on the inner surface of the support wall near the top and planting blocks, in which plants are planted, are mounted on the support means in a circle to have the plants face the central light means. A watering member is associated with each support means to provide water, pumped from the base, to the top of each block mounted on the support means.

The invention relates to a system for identifying the position of a machine for three-dimensional measuring or machining in a fixed frame of reference. In accordance with the invention, the system comprises:a first base for resting at an identified point on a support wall associated with the machine stand, said base being provided on its top with a bearing platform;a second base identical to the first base, for resting at an identified point on a support surface associated with the fixed frame of reference; anda multi-axis assembly having two hinged arms that are coupled together, and having two endpieces coupled to said arms, each endpiece having a main axis that coincides with the central axis of the corresponding base when said endpiece is in place, said multi-axis assembly also being fitted with integrated angle encoders measuring the respective angles of rotation about each of its axes.

A connector assembly includes a housing having support walls extending between a loading end and a mating end that define a mating interface. A contact module is received within the housing through the loading end, and the contact module includes contacts, a body and a plurality of conductors held by the body. A wall supported grab bar structure provides two similar spacedly opposed L-shaped brackets interconnected by a fixed bar extending therebetween and carrying a U-shaped foldable bar to pivot relative thereto. The foldable bar pivots from a relaxed position parallel to a wall supporting a use to the brackets position perpendicular to the supporting wall. Spring leaf fasteners carried in the outer end portion of each leg of the foldable bar each provide a release pin and a spacedly distant fastener pin to releaseably interfit in a hole defined in the adjacent L-shaped bracket to releasably maintain the foldable bar in an extended operative position. Each fastener pin is releaseable responsive to motion of the spacedly distant release pins and both release pins must be simultaneously operated to release the foldable bar from a use portion.

A contact module is received within the housing through the loading end, and the contact module includes contacts, a body and a plurality of conductors held by the body. The conductors extend between mating ends and wire terminating ends, and the contacts extend from the mating ends of the conductors at the mating interface of the housing. The wire terminating ends are configured to be terminated to individual wires of a cable. A clip has a first securing tab and a second securing tab, wherein the first securing tab is securely coupled to the housing and the second securing tab is securely coupled to the contact module. The clip securely retains the contact module within the housing.
