The method comprises steps of firstly, acquiring disturbance backward scattering curve data of fibers in a to-be-measured cable in case of disturbance, and disturbance-free backward scattering curve data of the fibers in the to-be-measured cable in case of no disturbance; carrying out filtering processing on the disturbance backward scattering curve data and the disturbance-free backward scattering curve data by use of a wavelet de-noising algorithm; carrying out wavelet decomposition de-noising on the disturbance backward scattering curve data subjected to the filtering processing and the disturbance-free backward scattering curve data subjected to the filtering processing; and carrying out characteristic analysis on the data obtained through the wavelet decomposition de-noising and determining disturbance positions through the characteristic analysis.
