Abstract

The invention provides a high-biological-simulation speech processing filter being a nine-order filter constructed by successive cascade connection of a band-pass filter unit, a low-pass filter unit,and an elliptic low-pass filter unit. The central frequency of the nine-order filter is adjusted by the low-pass filter unit. Therefore, with combination of frequency response characteristics of the biological cochlea, a sound response curve near a specific center frequency can be subdivided into a gentle passive section, an active section with selectivity, and a cut-off section with an abrupt change; the gentle passive section is processed by band-pass filtering; the active section with selectivity is processed by low-pass filtering; and the cut-off section with an abrupt change is processedby an elliptical low-pass filter unit. Therefore, the speech processing with high biological-simulation property and low power consumption is realized.
