Abstract

The invention provides a hardness field design method of a wheel body of an engineering machinery bearing wheel. The method comprises the following steps: step 1, determining a hardness ratio range ofthe wheel body of the bearing wheel and a track link according to contact stress characteristics of friction pair parts; step 2, according to a structure size and material characteristics of the wheel body of the bearing wheel and a bending strength requirement of a wheel rim portion of the wheel body of the bearing wheel after a wear limit, using finite-element software to carry out bending strength analysis to determine the wear limit and hardened-layer depth; step 3, determining surface hardness according to an end quenching curve of materials of the wheel body of the bearing wheel; step 4, determining core-portion hardness according to a wear resistance requirement, a fatigue resistance requirement and an impact resistance requirement of the wheel body of the bearing wheel under a working condition environment and material properties and heat processing technology of the wheel body of the bearing wheel; and step 5, determining hardness gradient distribution according to a distribution requirement of hardened-layer depth of a shaft diameter portion and the wheel rim portion of the wheel body of the bearing wheel and end quenching properties of the materials of the wheel body ofthe bearing wheel.
