Abstract

The invention discloses an automatic wire cutter for a physical experiment. The automatic wire cutter comprises a base, a fixed plate, a first rotating plate, a second motor, a support plate and connecting plates, wherein the support plate is fixedly welded to one side of the upper surface of the base; and a second through hole is formed in an axis part of the support plate. According to the automatic wire cutter disclosed by the invention, a first motor is arranged on a motor support; firstly, a wire is inserted into the second through hole and is in a straight line shape in the second through hole, and then the wire is inserted in a gap formed by splicing clamping blocks and then is inserted into a first through hole; then the first motor is started, so that a first gear is rotated, a chain is driven by the first gear to be rotated, and a second gear is driven by the chain to be rotated, and thus, the connecting plates are rotated; and under the effects of the clamping blocks, the wire is fed into the first through hole, and then a second motor is started, the wire is cut by a cutting knife when the wire enters into a junction of the first through hole and a groove, and thus, automatic cutting of the wire can be achieved.
