Abstract

The present invention relates to flotation devices, and in particular to inflatable flotation devices configured for use by infants to at least partially support the infant above the surface of water and at least partially retain the infant therein. The device may be a buoyant member having an inner perimeter, a top and a bottom. The flotation member has a first height at the first position of the flotation member. The flotation member has a second height different from the first height at the second position of the flotation member. The flotation member includes a support member disposed at least partially within an inner periphery of the flotation member. The first portion of the support member is coupled to the top of the flotation member at a first location. A second portion of the support member is coupled to the top of the flotation member at a second location.
