Benefits of technology

This patented technology describes a composition called Montorillonite (montmorillonitolith) combined with cow's milk to create a special type material known as Passive Guard®(passively protectant). These compositions have improved ability to prevent harmful substances from entering crops without being absorbed into them during their growth process. They are less expensive but still provide good protection against environmental pollution caused by these materials compared to other methods like crop rotation. Overall, this innovative approach helps plants recover stronger healthy environments while reducing negative impact on our environment.

Problems solved by technology

This patented technical solution involves developing effective methods or materials used during contamination processes involving various types of acids (pH) on both strong and lightweight clay mineral surfaces like Cd(II), Pb(III)) and Zn(IV). These techniques help prevent damage from environmental factors including crop rotation due to exposures to harmful elements. However, some sources may increase the level of cadmate ion accumulation without affecting beneficial levels found within the environment. Additionally, even if the process works well enough, residual amounts of cadimony remain high because many areas have already been affected beforehand. To address this issue, new ways of treatments were developed based upon specific ingredients combined together.

Embodiment 1

[0021] 1.1 Configuration of soil for cadmium pollution test

[0022] The soil of a farmland in southern Jiangsu was taken, and its pH was measured to be 7.20, and Cd was mixed with CdCl 2 The form is added to the soil to balance in January, and the concentration of Cd in the soil is 3mg / kg.

[0023] 1.2 Preparation of passivating agent

[0024] Mix the commercially available montmorillonite with the normal sun-dried cow dung in the farm at a weight ratio of 1:1, and mix until uniform.

Abstract

The invention relates to the field of soil restoration, especially relates to the field of restoration of soil polluted by heavy metals, and particularly relates to a passivation agent for cadmium polluted alkalescent soil and a restoration method. The passivation agent is prepared from montmorillonoid and cow dung. The dosage of the passivation agent is 16%. The passivation agent formed through combination of montmorillonoid and cow dung can remarkably reduce the concentration of effective state Cd in the polluted farmland soil. Meanwhile, a test proves that the passivation agent formed through combination of montmorillonoid and cow dung has a better passivation restoration effect compared with independent application of cow dung or montmorillonoid, and the passivation rate is obviously higher than the sum of the passivation rates of montmorillonoid and cow dung. When the application rate of the passivation agent is 16%, the passivation rate can be as high as 81.48%. Therefore, the passivation agent provides a more effective new route for restoration of the alkalescent farmland soil polluted by the heavy metals.
