Embodiment 1

[0022] Example 1: Establishment of a database of phenotypic traits of known peanut varieties

[0023] From 2004 to 2017, the applicant conducted a DUS test on 388 peanut varieties in the Huanghuaihai region. Each variety is generally tested for two growth cycles. In each cycle, data is collected for all 31 traits in the test guide, and a total of more than 12,000 phenotypic traits are collected. The collected data of phenotypic traits were sorted according to the expression method and data type of the test traits. On this basis, a database of phenotypic traits of peanut varieties in the Huanghuaihai region was established, and the DUS test trait data of more than 300 varieties were stored. The screening of similar varieties in this example is carried out based on the above-mentioned phenotypic traits database.

[0024] According to the degree that the expression state observation value of each phenotypic trait is affected by the environmental conditions and the size of the p...

Embodiment 2

[0236] Embodiment 2: Screening of similar varieties of peanuts

[0237] 1. There are 4 varieties of peanuts to be applied for, and the codes and names are shown in Table 32;

[0238] 2. Collect the trait data (Table 33) of the applied variety through one-year planting, and import it into the peanut phenotypic trait database;

[0239] 3. Set the safety distance to 2, click the "screen" button, and the database system lists the list of approximate varieties corresponding to each applied variety (Table 34, figure 1 ). Table 34 lists only close breeds with a phenotype distance of 0.

Abstract

The invention discloses a peanut specificity test approximate variety screening method based on phenotypic distance. According to the method, different weights (such as a table 1) are set for code difference values of all expression states of each peanut phenotypic character according to the influence degree of environmental conditions on the expression state observation value of each phenotypic character and the personnel observation deviation, and the sum of the weights with difference between varieties is calculated to serve as the phenotypic distance between the varieties. A safe phenotypic distance threshold value is determined through comparative analysis of phenotypic distances and obvious difference degrees among a large number of real varieties, and the variety lower than the phenotypic distance threshold value is used as an approximate variety. With the adoption of the method, the influence of observation deviation, interaction and data entry errors of personnel and screeningof similar varieties is well eliminated, and the preciseness of screening of the similar varieties is improved. By the adoption of the method, it is convenient to plant the nearest variety and the applied variety adjacently during a field test, and the specificity test pertinence is improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for screening similar varieties of peanut specificity testing based on phenotype distance, and belongs to the technical field of new plant variety testing (or called DUS testing). Background technique [0002] Specificity, consistency and stability are the basic requirements for plant varieties, and are the prerequisites for new plant varieties to obtain variety rights protection, variety approval of major crop varieties and registration of non-main crop varieties. Specificity means that the variety under application should be clearly different from all known varieties of the same genus or species before the filing date. To identify a variety as having specificity, it needs to be demonstrated that the variety is phenotypically distinct from any other known variety of the same crop. There are often tens of thousands of known varieties of major crops, and it is practically impossible to compare each variety applied for ...
