Abstract

Embodiments herein provide systems and methods for off-grid MCVideo communication to one or more MCVideo devices in an off-grid mission critical video (MCVideo) communication system. The method includes sending, by a first MCVideo device, a communication request message with an indication to one or more second MCVideo devices. The method includes receiving, by the first MCVideo device, a communication acknowledgment response message from one or more second MCVideo devices. Additionally, the method includes establishing, by the first MCVideo device, a media session for video communication with one or more second MCVideo devices. Additionally, the method includes transmitting, by one of the first MCVideo device and the second MCVideo device, video to the one or more MCVideo devices.
