The method comprises the following steps: acquiring vehicle running data of a target vehicle; determining running data of the target vehicle in different running time intervals and parking data in different parking time intervals according to the vehicle running data; determining a target parking time interval of a parking reason to be analyzed according to the running data in different running time intervals and parking data of different parking time intervals; and determining the parking reason of the target vehiclein the target parking time interval according to the target parking time interval, the running data of different running time intervals and the parking data of different parking time intervals. Through adoption of the method and device, the parking reason can be recognized automatically.
