Abstract

The invention discloses a channel coding and decoding system and a channel coding and decoding method for a deep space communication system, and relates to the technical field of communication. Polarization codes are selected as a deep space communication channel coding and decoding scheme, a deep space communication channel model is provided, and a polarization code for the channel model is constructed by using a Tal-Vardy method. Through simulation, a conclusion is obtained as follows: when the signal to noise ratio is low, the polarization code is used as the channel coding and decoding ofthe deep space communication system, so that the communication quality can be effectively improved, and the improved E-SCL decoding algorithm has, the frame error rate lower than that of the SC decoding algorithm, and the frame error rate of the improved E-SCL decoding algorithm is equivalent to that of the SCL decoding algorithm.
