Abstract

A vehicle air conditioning unit is mounted in a vehicle (70), and the vehicle has an object seat (74) which is installed in a vehicle cabin and has a seat back (742) capable of tilting action. The vehicle air conditioning unit is provided with a blowing part (14) in which a blowing vent (14a) for blowing out air toward the object seat is formed so as to be open toward the front side of the object seat in the vehicle cabin, and an air volume adjustment device (12) for increasing and decreasing the blown volume (V) of air blown out from the blowing vent. A control unit (20) of the vehicle air conditioning unit controls the air volume adjustment device so as to increase the blown volume of air the further the seat back is tilted and a backrest surface (742a) of the seat back is oriented upward.
