Abstract

The invention discloses a beam failure processing method, a terminal and network equipment, and the method comprises the steps: transmitting a beam failure recovery request to the network equipment under the condition that a beam failure event happens on an active BWP (Bandwidth Part); using a control resource set CORESET-BFR for beam failure recovery in target downlink BWP to receives response information fed back by the network equipment according to the beam failure recovery request, wherein the target downlink BWP corresponds to at least two BWPs, and the at least two BWPs comprise an active BWP. According to the invention, the number of the target downlink BWPs configured with the CORESET-BFR is smaller than the configuration number of the downlink BWPs of the terminal, so that the number of CORESETs used in a normal communication process is increased, and enough transmission resources for normal communication are ensured.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the technical field of communications, and in particular to a beam failure processing method, terminal and network equipment. Background technique [0002] Long-term evolution (Long Time Evolution, LTE) or enhanced LTE (LTE-Advanced, LTE-A) wireless access technology with multiple input multiple output (Multiple Input Multiple Output, MIMO) + Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing, OFDM) technology. The MIMO technology uses the antenna system to obtain the degree of freedom of space, which improves the peak rate and the utilization rate of the system spectrum. [0003] In the future fifth-generation (5G, Generation) mobile communication system, or New Radio (NR, New Radio) system, the supported working frequency band will be increased to above 6GHz, and the maximum will be about 100GHz. The high frequency band has relatively abundant idle frequency resources, which can provide greater throughput for data transmiss...
