Abstract

An adjustable aerosol delivery device comprising: an active liquid container; a liquid-carrying container; a piezoelectric disk mounted relative to the liquid-carrying container with a flexible gasket; an oscillator configured to generate ultrasonic waves that oscillate the piezoelectric disk and transmit the oscillations Access to the active liquid by a carrier liquid such that at least a portion of the active liquid becomes an aerosol; a liner secured relative to the liquid-carrying container by a fixed portion conforming or mating to the entire periphery of a fixed section of the liner; and a fastener , which extends through the piezo housing and into the bushing. The fastener is configured to be loosened or tightened to manipulate the compression of the gasket to adjust the particle size of the aerosol.
