Abstract

The invention discloses a method for charging a fusion reactor plasma core by using sandwich projectiles. The sandwich projectiles are placed in a charging room, and a vacuum pump unit is connected with the charging room to provide a vacuum environment for the charging room to avoid surface oxidation of metal shells of the sandwich projectiles; and a feeding pipe is connected with the charging room and a projectile injector, and the projectile injector is a device providing power for high-speed projectiles. According to the method, a double-layer sandwich projectile injection way is adopted, lithium or beryllium protective shells are used on the surface layers, and the inner layers are filled with solid fusion fuel hydrogen isotopes or lithium deuteride materials; and the sandwich projectiles are injected into plasma at high speed during discharge of the fusion reactor high-temperature plasma, ablative resistance of the metal shells on the surface layers of the sandwich projectiles isused for protecting nuclear fuel in the inner layers of the sandwich projectiles passing through a steep table base region at the edge of the plasma and enter the plasma core, and the requirement forcharging the combustion plasma core is met.
