Abstract

The invention discloses a UPFC optimal configuration method based on DC power flow and belongs to the field of steady-state operation of a power system. Under the background of reducing the transmission pressure of the power system and optimizing the structure of a modern power system, the UPFC optimal configuration method based on DC power flow is provided. A UPFC device can adjust the line powerflow distribution in the power system and improve the economic cost of the system. The method model of the present invention is a UPFC optimal configuration mathematical model by using the economic cost of a generator as a objective function based on a constructed UPFC DC power flow model, and the nonlinear power flow equation of the model is processed by a Big-M method in order to convert a mixed integer nonlinear programming problem into a mixed integer linear programming problem suitable for more solvers, and optimize the installation position and capacity of the UPFC in the line. The model helps to adjust the line power transmission capacity and change the power distribution in the system so that the system runs efficiently.
