The invention discloses a V2X communication and application joint test method and system, and the method comprises the steps: building test systems corresponding to different test scenes at differenttest road sections of a test site, enabling a server to receive an online request of a node after the node is powered on, and binding the online request with the test scene to which the node belongs;selecting a communication environment test scene and issuing the environment configuration information to participating roadside nodes; determining the number and positions of RVs in an application scene and generating corresponding BSM message flows; and enabling the HV to start to move according to the application process and execute message receiving and sending, and enabling the server to collect communication data information of the road side node, the HV node and the RV node and perform joint test analysis of communication and application. Two tests are carried out on the same platform,the application range of the platform is widened, and rapid diagnosis of safety application development is facilitated. According to the method, the V2X application process is simply and flexibly controlled, and the application scene is accurately reproduced; and the roadside nodes are used for simulating actual vehicles, so that the possible safety problems such as collision in the test are avoided.
