Abstract

The invention discloses a bait casting reel capable of preventing wire explosion. The bait casting reel comprises an operating device, shells and a wire cup, wherein the wire cup is provided with driving wheels; and the driving wheels of the wire cup rotate to drive driven wheels of a driven device, and therefore a traction device connected with the driven wheels is driven to pull a fishing wire outwards. Due to the fact that the traction device is driven by the power of the wire cup through a gear ratio, the wire outlet speed of the traction device is larger than the wire outlet speed of thewire cup, so the problem of wire explosion caused by excessively high wire outlet speed of the wire cup during bait throwing operation is solved. Meanwhile, due to the fact that the speed of the wirecup is not limited, throwing of a lure bait is not limited to the maximum degree, and long-distance throwing is facilitated.
