The invention provides a disaster recovery main and standby equipment configuration method and device, and the method is applied to first vBRAS-CP equipment, and comprises the steps: receiving a firstheartbeat notification message which is transmitted by second vBRAS-CP equipment and comprises a first identifier list; obtaining a second identifier list in the first vBRAS-CP equipment, and determining whether a first UP equipment identifier exists in the second identifier list or not; if so, identifying the configuration state of the first UP equipment corresponding to the first UP equipment identifier in the first identifier list and the second identifier list; if the first UP equipment is in a configured state in the second identifier list and is updated from the configured state to an unconfigured state in the first identifier list, prohibiting a user access function of the first UP equipment; and sending a first notification message to the first UP equipment, so that the first UP equipment does not send the user service message to the first vBRAS-CP equipment.
