Abstract

The invention discloses a nonlinear kinetic analysis method for ship yawing in regular waves. The nonlinear kinetic analysis method comprises the following steps: establishing a yawing motion differential equation of a ship in the regular waves; according to a nonlinear dynamics theory, determining boundaries of a stability domain and an instability domain of the ship in yawing motion, obtaining astability domain schematic diagram of a ship yawing motion differential equation solution, and according to the stability domain schematic diagram, obtaining a theoretical critical value of a parameter excitation item coefficient in the yawing motion differential equation; based on a bifurcation nonlinear dynamics theory, calculating ship yawing motion bifurcation characteristics by adopting a numerical method to obtain a bifurcation diagram of a ship yawing angle along with the change of the wave height so as to determine the reliability of a theoretical critical value of a parameter excitation term coefficient; and determining a critical condition of transverse throwing of the ship according to the stability domain schematic diagram. According to the method, the stability domain of safenavigation of the ship is analyzed by adopting a non-linear kinetic analysis method for the transverse swinging motion of the ship in the regular waves, and an analysis method and a safe navigation basis are provided for safe navigation of the ship.
