Abstract

The invention provides an ocean seismic wave simulation method and system based on Gaussian random distribution. The method comprises the following steps: regarding the seawater speed as the combination of a large-scale speed background field and small-scale speed disturbance; establishing a seawater speed model of Gaussian random distribution; and carrying out seismic wave forward modeling on the seawater speed model based on Gaussian random distribution. According to the method, small-scale disturbance of the seawater speed is described through Gaussian random distribution, conventional horizontal layered medium hypothesis is overcome, seawater speed change characteristics are described more truly, and the scattering and attenuation phenomena of seismic waves in seawater are effectively reflected.
