Benefits of technology

This patented technology allows us to use light waves or magnetic fields from an instrument called Fourier transforms (FT) to study how blood flows through different parts inside our body during sleep cycles. It can help diagnose neurologically related conditions such as Alzheimer' s disease by analyzing these data over longer periods of time compared to traditional methods that require long hours to perform measurements on subjects at rest. Additionally, it provides detailed analysis about neural activities within specific areas of the subject being tested. Overall, this technique helps researchers better understanding what causes mental disorders like depression and manicism.

Problems solved by technology

Technologies described earlier include studying how people who suffer from depression can develop memory issues like decreased learning capacity due to changes made during childhood developmental stages. However, current measures lack specific markers indicating whether this change occurs early onset or later when developing new therapies aim at improving performance.

Embodiment Construction

[0041] The present invention will be described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments. Those skilled in the art should understand that these embodiments are only used to explain the technical principles of the present invention, and are not intended to limit the protection scope of the present invention.

[0042]The invention provides a method for detecting the cognitive function of schizophrenic patients. The method uses equipment such as fNIRS functional near-infrared spectrometer and electroencephalograph, which changes the current situation that there is no objective biological index in the evaluation of cognitive function of schizophrenic patients. , for a more objective and accurate grading of the degree of cognitive impairment in patients with schizophrenia; at the same time, this method is based on the internationally recognized cognitive ability assessment scale for patients with schizophrenia, and through fNIRS functiona...

Abstract

The invention provides a method for detecting the cognitive function of a patient suffering from schizophrenia. The problems that an existing cognitive impairment evaluation method for the patient suffering from schizophrenia is too complex in detection and cannot perform objective evaluation are solved. The method comprises the steps: arranging a light source and a detector on the forehead lobe and the Weernike area of the head of a patient, and enabling electroencephalogram electrodes to be attached to the head of the patient; 2, collecting resting state data of the patient within a set time; 3, guiding the patient to complete the cognitive function evaluation scale according to the sequence, and meanwhile, collecting the whole process of completing the cognitive function evaluation scale by the patient through a behavior recording camera; 4, transmitting the cerebral blood oxygen data and the electroencephalogram data to a working machine; 5, processing the data; 6, comparing the processed blood oxygen index, resting-state electroencephalogram data and cerebral blood oxygen data with the last detection data of the patient to obtain the cognitive function change of the patient.
