An image decoding method according to the present invention comprises the steps of: acquiring prediction mode information of a current block from a bitstream; deriving a prediction mode of the current block by using the prediction mode information of the current block; on the basis of information relating to division of the current block and the prediction mode of the current block, acquiring information indicating, on the basis of at least one of prediction modes of the current block, whether a residual signal of a transform block for the current block exists; and on the basis of the information indicating whether the residual signal of the transform block exists, reconstructing the current block.
