Abstract

The invention discloses a functional small peptide KP-11. The amino acid sequence of the peptide KP-11 is KPWLRVALCPG. A broad-spectrum antifungal activity experiment of the peptide KP-11 shows that the peptide KP-11 achieves an inhibition effect on fungi mainly through hypha aggregation. The highest inhibition rates of the peptide KP-11 on corn bihilum, curvularia lunata and maize bihilum are respectively 76.9%, 62.3% and 45.7%.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a functional small peptide and its application, in particular to a functional small peptide with antibacterial activity against pathogenic fungi. Background technique [0002] Fungal phytopathogens are an important class of microorganisms that cause significant economic losses to agricultural production around the world. For decades, chemical pesticides have been commonly used to control the growth and spread of fungal pathogens. However, the use of pesticides not only pollutes the environment but also harms human health, and the scope of pesticides is limited. Therefore, there is an urgent need to find a green, environmentally friendly and safe new fungicide to replace the chemical pesticides currently in use. [0003] Active peptides are called functional small peptides, and their molecular structures vary in complexity, ranging from simple dipeptides to cyclic macromolecular polypeptides, and these peptides can be modified...
