[0044] All three products reduce the chlorine levels in the water when lime products (ie, water conditioners) are added. It is important to note here that the chlorine content in water itself is not constant, it will disappear over time. Among the above-mentioned three products, the amount of reduction of chlorine after adding Norsk Korallsand is the lowest, and the amount of reduction of chlorine after adding water quality improver A1 (i.e. the product of the present invention) is the highest. The latter enables fully automatic dechlorination. Example 2: Small cells before and after adding water conditioner A2 to drinking water with E. coli

Abstract

The invention pertains to coral sand, more particularly to a composition of coral algae, shell sand and ascorbate being useful as an additive for the improvement of the quality, including the taste, of drinking water, that is as a water improvement agent. The composition is as follows: 5 to 90% coral algae, 5 to 90% shell sand, 0.1 to 8% ascorbic acid salt, and it is chosen so that by the addition of 0.5 g to 1 liter of water is the mixture is emerging with a pH from 7 to 8.5. If the product in addition contains a suitable gelling agent, this entails that any bacteria formerly present, after addition of the water improvement agent according to the invention, no longer exist in the free solution.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a water quality improver, which contains a reducing agent, which can produce a weakly soluble solution after being dissolved in drinking water to improve water quality. Adding the water improver of the present invention to drinking water can quickly and efficiently remove chlorine and improve the taste of drinking water. A preferred product of the present invention also contains a gelling agent capable of sterilizing bacteria. [0002] The present invention relates to a reducing agent, which may consist of one or more other components, and can be used as an additive for improving drinking water quality, that is, a water quality improving agent. Background technique [0003] The taste and quality of drinking water are very important to human health. Every day, a large amount of tap water is directly or indirectly consumed by people in the form of aqueous nutrients. This means: Contaminated water sources can be an important so...
