The invention provides a
road traffic energy-saving method based on probe vehicle technology. The
road traffic energy-saving method includes the following steps: a. a probe vehicle-mounted terminal collects vehicle information of number, location, speed, time, direction and
brake frequency regularly when a vehicle runs and sends the information to a
data center via cellular mobile communication technology, b. a road is divided into sections and road section collection is obtained, historical data of the probe vehicle is extracted, historical average
brake frequency and historical
brake speed on each road section at different time intervals is counted, and frequently braking road section is found out and is added to a fuel-saving management road section collection, and c. when the vehicle runs on a certain road section, the
data center matches the road section on which a driver is, and if the road section belongs to the fuel-saving management road section, the center data judges whether the current speed of the probe vehicle is reasonable and sends the optimum speed on the road section to the driver automatically if the current speed of the prober vehicle is unreasonable. The
road traffic energy-saving method based on the probe vehicle technology is capable of sending road traffic energy-saving information to the driver, not only is driving behavior of the driver regularized, but also purpose of
energy conservation and consumption reduction are achieved.
