6 results about "Stream Control Transmission Protocol" patented technology

The Stream Control Transmission Protocol (SCTP) is a computer networking communications protocol which operates at the transport layer and serves a role similar to the popular protocols TCP and UDP. It is standardized by IETF in RFC 4960.

Methods, systems, and computer readable media for providing stream control transmission protocol (SCTP) multihoming between a kubernetes environment and a non-kubernetes environment

A method for providing stream control transmission protocol (SCTP) multihoming between a Kubernetes environment and a non-Kubernetes environment includes receiving, at an SCTP multihoming router (SMR) deployed as a pod within the Kubernetes environment and from a client in the non-Kubernetes environment, an SCTP INIT message for establishing a multi-homed SCTP association between first and second Internet protocol (IP) addresses of the client and first and second local IP addresses of the SMR. The first and second local IP addresses of the SMR are added to an SCTP header of the SCTP INIT message. Source and destination network address translations (NATs) are performed to change a source IP address and a destination IP address in an IP header of an IP datagram carrying the SCTP INIT message to a third local IP address of the SMR and a service IP address of a service in the Kubernetes environment, respectively.

Request sending method, base station connection method, device, equipment and storage medium

ActiveCN116684895BImprove experienceAvoid signaling stormsHeartbeatStream Control Transmission Protocol
Embodiments of the present application provide a request sending method, a base station connection method, a device, equipment and a storage medium. The request sending method is applied to any base station in a plurality of base stations connected to a same core network side, and the method comprises: obtaining an identity code corresponding to the base station and a stream control transmission protocol (SCTP) heartbeat parameter between the base station and the core network side, wherein the identity codes corresponding to each base station in the plurality of base stations are different; determining a first heartbeat period of the base station for sending heartbeat signaling to the core network side based on the identity code and the SCTP heartbeat parameter; so that the first heartbeat periods corresponding to each base station in the plurality of base stations are different; sending the heartbeat signaling to the core network side based on the first heartbeat period; and sending a connection establishment request to the core network side in a case where a response signaling sent by the core network side is not received. The request sending method according to the embodiments of the present application can avoid the generation of a signaling storm and improve user experience.

Communication method, apparatus, and communication system

ActiveUS12652320B2TransmissionCommunications systemStream Control Transmission Protocol
A communication method includes a data channel service entity that is configured to transmit real-time interaction information between a first user equipment (UE) and a second UE that are in a same call service. The communication method includes establishing a first data channel with the first UE, establishing a first video channel with the second UE; sending, to the second UE through the first video channel, first real-time interaction information sent by the first UE through the first data channel, and / or sending, to the first UE through the first data channel, second real-time interaction information sent by the second UE through the first video channel. The first data channel is used to transmit data according to Stream Control Transmission Protocol (SCTP), and the first video channel is used to transmit data according to User Datagram Protocol (UDP).

DTLS for SCTP as bump in the stack for rekeying / reauthenticating

PendingUS20260156152A1Securing communicationCA protocolTransport layer
A method and a network node for rekeying or re-authenticating security protection for Stream Control Transmission Protocol (SCTP) association using Datagram Transport Layer Security (DTLS) encryption for SCTP chunk transfer. The method comprises establishing a new DTLS connection between a first network node and a second network node using an existing SCTP association employing an existing DTLS connection between the two nodes to transfer DTLS handshake messages. The method further comprises commencing to use the new DTLS connection for protecting the SCTP chunk transfer using the DTLS encryption between the two nodes by transmitting SCTP chunks protected by DTLS encryption using the new DTLS connection; and closing the existing DTLS connection after an elapsed time period after commencing to use the new DTLS connection.

Method for reallocating stream control transport protocol sessions in virtualized central unit

PCT designated stageWO2026010155A1TransmissionVirtualizationEngineering
A method for reallocating stream control transport protocol sessions in a virtualized central unit is disclosed. The method may comprise the steps of: receiving state information from an OAM entity; on the basis of the state information, reallocating, to a second entity, a first portion of session information for one or more SCTP connections managed by a third entity; transmitting the reallocated first portion of the session information to the second entity; and receiving, from the second entity, completion information indicating that an SCTP reconnection of the second entity has been completed.
