Problems solved by technology

Usually, during intubation, especially during blind tracheal intubation, the front end is easily caught by the vocal folds (vocal cords) or tracheal cartilage, causing damage to the vocal folds and trachea; in order to meet the needs of lung ventilation, tubes with a circular cross-section The diameter is larger than the width of the glottis. After the intubation is completed, the tube wall will inevitably compress the vocal folds. As shown in Figure 2, the vocal folds will be damaged, and the submucosal tissue under the glottis is relatively loose. Edema is prone to occur when the injury is severe. Laryngeal edema, subglottic edema, vocal cord paralysis, spoon-shaped cartilage dislocation, sore throat and other complications, especially in children with a narrow laryngeal cavity, often caused by edema due to endotracheal intubation injury, laryngeal obstruction, resulting in dyspnea
[0005] When intubation is difficult, the guiding bougie successfully enters the trachea. The common endotracheal tube is often prevented from entering the trachea along the guiding bougie because the tip of the bevel is blocked outside the glottis.
[0006] In order to meet the needs of one-lung ventilation, the current double-lumen endotracheal tube has a thicker outer diameter, stronger stimulation of the glottis, and a higher incidence of postoperative hoarseness

Embodiment Construction

[0034] FIG. 1 illustrates the shape of the glottis 500 . The vocal cords 502 on both sides of the glottis 500 are relatively fragile human tissues. Referring to FIG. 1 and FIG. 3 , the left and right vocal cords 502 are connected to the trachea through the left and right vestibular folds 506 , thereby forming the glottis 500 . The glottis 500 opens during normal breathing, and the epiglottis 504 bends down to cover the glottis 500 during swallowing.

[0035] As shown in FIG. 4 , the first embodiment of the present invention provides a single-lumen endotracheal tube, which includes a flexible tube body 20 of a certain length and a cuff system attached to the tube body 20 .

[0036] The above-mentioned pipe body has a front end opening 24 and a rear end opening 25 opposite to the front end opening. The rear end opening 25 forms a conduit joint 26 connected with mechanical ventilation equipment. The front end opening 24 and the outer wall 202 of the pipe body 20 surround the inn...

Abstract

The invention discloses a minimally invasive trachea catheter that is used for trachea intubation, and comprises a flexible tube body with a certain length and a cuff system that is attached out of the tube body. The tube body is provided with a front end cut and an opposite back end cut; a catheter joint is formed at the back end cut; the outer contour of the cross section of the tube body is ellipse-shaped, egg-shaped, oblong-shaped or sunflower-seed shaped or in some other long shape without edge angles; the width of the long shape becomes lesser and lesser gradually along the length direction from one side to another. In order to satisfy the ventilation in the lung, the trachea catheter provides a large enough cross section of a flow channel which shape can still maintain the shape that matches with the glottis shape, therefore, the injuries to the glottis fold during the trachea intubation and the indwelling period can be reduced to the least. The minimally invasive trachea catheter which is provided with a flexible inclined introduction structure at the front end can further reduce the injuries to fragile tissues of trachea or glottis etc., during the intubation, and can guide the catheter to be inserted smoothly, which is convenient for intubation operation.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a medical appliance, in particular to a tracheal tube for tracheal intubation. Background technique [0002] Endotracheal intubation is to insert a special endotracheal tube into the trachea through the oral cavity or nasal cavity through the larynx. The laryngeal cavity is the only way for endotracheal intubation. The glottis is the narrowest part of the laryngeal cavity. It is a pair of folds formed by the laryngeal mucosa under the two side walls of the laryngeal cavity, that is, between the vocal cords and the base of the arytenoid cartilage. The crack, its cross-sectional shape is shown in Figure 1. [0003] The trachea is composed of 16-20 "C"-shaped tracheal cartilage rings and the annular ligament connecting the cartilage rings. The gap behind the tracheal cartilage is closed by a membrane wall composed of connective tissue and smooth muscle. [0004] The commonly used endotracheal tube generally adopts a circular cro...
