Abstract

The hydraulic unit (5) has a slave unit (8) activating a gas-exchange valve. A hydraulic housing is provided with a bottom part (20) and a top part (22). A master unit (6), a slave unit, a high-pressure chamber, a hydraulic valve (10) and a medium-pressure chamber (12) are in connection with the hydraulic housing. A low-pressure chamber (16) used as a hydraulic medium reservoir is formed in the top part and communicates with the medium-pressure chamber through a choke opening that is formed through a separating wall extending between the low-pressure chamber and the medium-pressure chamber.
