Problems solved by technology

[0027] However, in this respect, due to the limited amount of information in message 1 from the UE, there is a disadvantage that the eNB cannot estimate the exact radio resource allocation for sending message 3
Therefore, if the eNB cannot provide proper radio resource allocation to the UE (which will be used to send message 3), because of the shortage of radio resources for message 3, time delay for data transmission or waste of radio resources may occur, such as Figure 5 shown

[0046] One aspect of the present disclosure relates to issues recognized by the present inventors with respect to related art as described above, and further explained below. Based on this recognition, the features of this disclosure have been developed.

[0047] Although as shown the present disclosure is implemented in a mobile communication system, such as UMTS developed under the 3GPP specifications, the present disclosure is also applicable to other communication systems operating in accordance with different standards and specifications.

[0048] As network technology continues to evolve, it can be expected that the RNC may no longer be necessary in future networks, as Node Bs with enhanced capabilities, or other types of network entities (e.g., so-called access gateways) can handle Operation performed by the existing RNC. Such long-term evolution issues further support the need to develop improved radio admission control techniques to allow new terminals (or establish ...

Abstract

The present invention is related to transmitting data in a mobile communication system. Preferably, the present invention comprises transmitting first data to a receiving side and receiving acknowledgment information for indicating whether the first data was successfully transmitted to the receiving side. If the first data was not successfully transmitted to the receiving side, the method furthercomprises determining whether an amount of available radio resources is sufficient for retransmitting the first data to the receiving side, retransmitting the first data to the receiving side if the amount of available radio resources is sufficient to retransmit the first data, reconfiguring the first data into at least one second data if the amount of available radio resources is insufficient toretransmit the first data, wherein the at least one second data can be transmitted to the receiving side using the amount of available radio resources, and transmitting the at least one second data to the receiving side.

Description

technical field [0001] The present disclosure relates to E-UMTS (Evolved Universal Mobile Telecommunications System), and more particularly, to a method of efficiently transmitting and receiving access information between a terminal and a base station using message separation for an RRC connection request message. Background technique [0002] figure 1 It is E-UMTS, which can be used in the related art and the network structure of the mobile communication system of the present disclosure. [0003] The E-UMTS system has evolved from the UMTS system, and 3GPP is preparing basic specifications applicable thereto. The E-UMTS system can be classified as an LTE (Long Term Evolution) system. [0004] refer to figure 1 , the E-UMTS network is divided into E-UTRAN and CN (Core Network). E-UTRAN includes a terminal (UE (User Equipment)), a base station (eNB or eNode B) and an AG (Access Gateway) (which may also be expressed as "MME / S-GW"). The AG can be divided into a part for pr...
