Abstract

The invention provides a street lamp comprising a lamp post, a lamp holder and a clamping mechanism, wherein the clamping mechanism comprises a fixed seat, a pressing cover, a screw assembly and two baffles. The fixed seat is connected to the lamp holder and is vertically provided with an opening, and the top edge of the fixed seat is provided with a screw hole communicated with the opening. The pressing cover is arranged at the upper side inside the opening, the top edge of the pressing cover is provided with a first through hole which corresponds to the screw hole, and the pressing cover isvertically provided with two second through holes staggered with the first through hole. The screw assembly is provided with a threaded part and a tail part, wherein the threaded part is in threaded connection with the screw hole of the fixed seat, and the tail part is arranged in the first through hole of the pressing cover and is provided with an annular groove. The two baffles are respectivelyarranged in the two second through holes, and partial regions of each baffle are arranged in the annular groove. The street lamp can effectively and simply ensure that the lamp holder is arranged andfixed at the front end of the lamp post and also ensure that the clamping mechanism is suitable for clamping the front ends of lamp posts with different diameters according to the locking degree of the screw assembly.
