Abstract

The invention relates to network data transmission equipment which comprises at least one functional line card, a management line card module and a bus, wherein the functional line card is provided with a first address; the management line card module at least comprises a main management line card which transmits data with the functional line card through the bus according to a protocol. The functional line card comprises a chip selection pin, and the main management line card identifies the functional line card and transmits data through the value of the chip selection pin and the first address of the functional line card. The invention utilizes various functional line cards to add one extra chip selection pin, thereby saving the use of an I2C address on the one hand and considering the turnaround time of network equipment.
