Embodiment Construction

[0083] Overall implementation ( Figure 1A and 1B )

[0084] Tightly-closed product container 10 has two opposite closure shells 10P and 10A, and these shells can be separated and be in open accessible state (as Figure 1A shown), in this state the closure housing is unlocked and the product 10G is accessible. The closure shells can be placed together in a closed state along the closure interface 12C (e.g. Figure 1B Shown), in this state the closure housing is buckled to seal the product. The product chamber 10C in the closed case can display and store products. The closure housing may be formed from the same or different materials as required by the application. A closure catch between the closure housings holds the closure housings in the closed position. The closure catch 26 has:

[0085] Closed state (see Figure 2B ), in which the closure housings are snapped together in the closed state, and

[0086] Released state (see Figure 2A ), in which state the closure h...

Abstract

Secure product container (10) has opposed closure shells (10P,10A) forming product chamber (I0C). The shells may be separated into an open accessible state (see FIG IA), in which the closure shells are uncaptured and product (10G) is accessible. The closure shells may be placed together in a closed state along closure interface (12C) (see FIG IB), in which the closure shells are captured to enclose the product. A closure capture between the closure shells holds the shells in the closed state. Closure capture (26) has a secured condition (see FIG 2B) in which the closure shells are captured together in the closed state, and a released condition (see FIG 2A) in which the closure shells may be uncaptured in the accessible state. Capture release device (12) on active shell (10A) is pressure responsive for releasing the closure capture from the secured condition into the released condition when pressurized. When depressurized, the release device permits the closure capture to be secure from the released condition into the secured condition. Pressure system (14) (shown in FIG IA) is in fluid communication with the release device for pressurizing the release device to release the closurecapture and uncapture the closure shells. The pressure system also depressurizes the release device to permit securing the closure capture and capturing the closure shells.

Description

technical field [0001] This application claims the benefit of Provisional Application Serial No. US 60 / 790,722 filed April 11,2006. [0002] The present invention relates to tightly closed containers, and more particularly to containers having internal pressure sensitive tubing for releasing a lock to open the container. Background technique [0003] To date, products have been displayed on the shelves in strong, clip-on type closures. These clamp-type packages typically have opposing hard plastic shells that are typically hinged together. The shells come together to enclose the product, and the edges are closed tightly to form a protective cavity for the enclosed product. To deter product tampering and theft, these clamp-on packages are difficult to open. Buyers need sharp tools, scissors, or heavy-duty shears to cut through the hard shell and access the product. These early packages were cut and damaged during opening and could not be used by the buyer for future stora...
