In the method, two lighting modes are combined; as scratch on a PWB surface does not affect the glossiness of the PWB surface, the coaxial light which originally illuminates the target of the liquid crystal panel is not shut down when the coaxial light illuminates the PWB target; and the level difference after the scratch is eliminated by using the coaxial light in an illumination mode which combines the coaxial light with the oblique light, and the scratch is highlighted and turned into a bright point by using the oblique light on the basis of the coaxial light, so an ideal retrieval model is obtained, and simultaneously the normal PWB target retrieval is not affected.
