Embodiment Construction

[0027] The exemplary embodiments are now described in detail. Examples thereof are shown in the accompanying drawings, in which the same reference numerals always refer to the same components. The exemplary embodiments are described below to explain the present disclosure by referring to the figures.

[0028] figure 1 The multi-touch and adjacent object sensing device 100 in which the invisible light source is arranged at the edge of the multi-touch and adjacent object sensing device 100 is shown.

[0029] Reference figure 1 Hereinafter, the multi-touch and proximity object sensing device is referred to as the sensing device 100. The sensing device 100 may include, for example, a display panel 110, a diffuser 120, a visible light source 130, an invisible light source 140, a light guide 150, and a sensor. 测Array 160.

[0030] The display panel 110 may be arranged on the upper part (for example, the upper layer) of the sensing device 100. In this example, the display panel 110 may be ...

Abstract

A multi-touch and proximate object sensing apparatus using a sensing array is provided. The multi-touch and proximate object sensing apparatus may sense a touch image or a target image by sensing an invisible light which is projected to a diffuser through the sensing array. Also, the multi-touch and proximate object sensing apparatus may display an image on a display panel by controlling a location of the sensing array and a visible light source, without a backlight unit.

Description

[0001] This application requires Korean Patent Application No. 10-2009-0109734 filed with the Korean Intellectual Property Office on November 13, 2009 and Korean Patent Application No. 10-2010-0074599 filed with the Korean Patent Office on August 2, 2010 The priority of, its disclosure is included here for reference. Technical field [0002] Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a multi-touch sensing device that can sense a touch image or a target image using a sensing array. Background technique [0003] With the development of display technology, interest in technology for recognizing the position of an object of a touch display has increased. In a touch-based or drawing-based display, when the touch sensor is combined with a conventional liquid crystal display (LCD) attached to a backlight unit that provides planar white light, the planar light may be uneven. [0004] In the conventional technology, there has been provided a structure that omits the diffuser an...
