Embodiment Construction

[0060] The invention patent consists of two parts: figure 1 The shown computer and its camera measurement system, figure 2 The shown camera axial displacement device is composed of high-precision micro-displacement stepping motor as the core.

[0061] On the computer system (5), run the camera driver program (13) for distribution, and connect the camera (1) to the computer (5) through USB interfaces (4) and (6). Then, let the camera focus and image the object to be measured.

[0062] The lighting conditions of the measurement environment may change to a certain extent during the measurement process, but this change is not allowed to significantly affect the contrast between light and dark in the imaging of the measured object. Selecting lighting equipment (15) is helpful to the implementation of the present invention. For example, the uniform lighting method with diffuse reflection, or the intensity of the lighting equipment can be stronger than the influence of ambient stra...

Abstract

The invention relates to a method and device for measuring an axial displacement by using one-dimensional peaks and valleys as a characteristic. The device comprises a common computer and a camera thereof, a stepping motor and an interface circuit thereof and an axial displacement device for the camera, wherein the camera is installed on the axial displacement device formed by using the high-precision micro-displacement stepping motor as a core; the stepping motor is connected with an RS232C interface of the computer through the stepping motor interface circuit; and the computer is configured with the camera for shooting and a program for measuring an axial displacement according to one-dimensional peak and valley data. The method comprises the following steps of: automatically analyzing and selecting the optimal viewing area by calculating an autocorrelation coefficient; controlling the rotation of the stepping motor through the RS232C interface of the computer, and operating the camera to move forwards or backwards; analyzing and measuring the pixel brightness of an image frame and the quantity of peaks and valleys along one coordinate direction, taking a position with greatest quantity as the optimal image focus position so as to obtain the axial relative displacement. The measurement method provided by the invention is novel and is quicker in measurement.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of digital image measurement, in particular to a method and a device for measuring the tiny displacement of an object along its optical axis using a computer camera. Background technique [0002] A recently filed invention patent application "Method and device for measuring displacement along the optical axis with peaks and valleys as characteristics" proposes a method for detecting small displacements along the optical axis using a photoelectric sensor array of a computer camera. This method takes into account the two-dimensional information characteristics of pixel brightness, and makes full use of the functions of the camera, but the analysis and calculation amount is relatively large. Contents of the invention [0003] The invention provides a method and device for measuring axial displacement characterized by one-dimensional peaks and valleys. It uses a computer camera to measure the tiny displacement...
