Embodiment Construction

[0030] The present invention proposes a gradient attenuation Richardson-Lucy (Gradient attenuation RL, GARL) algorithm, which utilizes gradient information to suppress most ringing artifacts. In addition, the present invention adopts a hierarchical reduction mechanism, and thus adopts the concept of residual deconvolution to alleviate ring artifacts. The following examples illustrate the detailed process of the hierarchical motion deblurring method of the present invention.

[0031] The concept of residual RL deconvolution (deconvolution) is to perform the RL algorithm on the residual image to reduce the absolute height of the signal, so ring artifacts can also be reduced. The so-called residual image ΔI is the difference between the clear image I and the guide image Ig, and its formula is as follows:

[0032] I=I g +ΔI (2)

[0033] Import formula (2) into formula (1), then we can get:

[0034] ΔB = ΔI ⊗ f + ...

Abstract

The invention provides a method for hierarchically removing motion blur of a single image. According to the method provided in the invention, a blur kernel of a target image is calculated; the target image and the blur kernel are expressed by expression formulas of multiple scales; and then gradient attenuation function and strong edge inhibition function are applied to a residual Richardson-Lucyalgorithm, and residual images of the target image and the blur kernel are calculated respectively in a recursive manner from a crudest scale to a finest scale, wherein the residual images are expressed by an expression formula of each scale; meanwhile, the residual images of the target image and the blur kernel are restored to a first restored image and a second restored image; at last, the difference of the two restored images are compared to obtain a restored image, wherein the motion blur of the restored image has been removed.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an image processing method, in particular to a hierarchical de-blurring method for a single image. Background technique [0002] Motion blur is produced by the relative motion between the camera and the scene within an exposure time, which often occurs when a hand-held camera is used to take pictures in a low-light environment. Another type of motion blur occurs when photographing moving objects with a still camera. [0003] For images affected by motion blur, how to restore them has become a major topic in the field of computer vision and image processing. Many people have proposed different algorithms to try to solve this problem. These algorithms can be roughly divided into three categories: single image deblurring; multi-level image deblurring; and computational photography. [0004] Among them, when the image involves camera rotation or large scene depth (scene depth) changes, it is quite complicated to estimate the actu...
