Abstract

The invention provides a planer milling machine capable of processing two end faces of a workpiece which cannot pass a planer, or can process the end faces in a length direction of the workpiece of which the length is more than the height of the planer. The planer milling machine comprises a bed, a worktable, a planer frame, a beam, a slide seat, a main shaft box, a ram, a milling head and a drive mechanism, wherein the worktable longitudinally moves along the bed; the slide seat transversely moves along a guide rail of the beam; the beam vertically moves along left and right stand columns of the planer frame and vertical to the guide rail; the ram drives the main shaft box to vertically move in the slide seat; the drive mechanism is detachably connected with the lower end of the main shaft box; an input shaft of the drive mechanism is connected with a main output shaft in the main shaft box; an output shaft of the drive mechanism is connected with the milling head; and the milling head is axially parallel to the guide rail of the bed.
