Embodiment Construction

[0063] Embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0064] Figures 1 to 4B is a configuration diagram showing a state where the first connector housing and the second connector housing constituting the connector of the present embodiment are in the temporary locking position. Figure 5 to Figure 8B is a configuration diagram showing a state where the first connector housing and the second connector housing are in a permanently locked position. Figure 9 to Figure 12B is a configuration diagram showing a state where a take-out tool is inserted into a terminal insertion opening provided in a connector front wall in a state where the first connector housing and the second connector housing are in a temporary locking position. Figure 13A and Figure 13B is an illustration showing a state where the lance is deformed by taking out the top of the tool.

[0065] Such as Figures 1 to 13B As shown, the conne...

Abstract

Provided is a connector wherein a terminal can be reliably removed by a removing tool as needed, and a terminal of another connector can be reliably connected to a terminal provided in a terminal accommodating chamber under normal conditions, so that the possibility that problems occur when the connectors are engaged can be eliminated. In a connector provided with first and second connector housings (20, 10) which are attached to each other, a connector front wall (17) which covers the front end of a terminal accommodating chamber (21) of the first connector housing (20) is integral with the second connector housing (10), and a terminal insertion opening (18) formed in the connector front wall (17) is moved from a position in front of a first terminal (70) to a position in front of a first lance (22) for engaging the first terminal when both connector housings are held at a temporary engagement position.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a connector configured to facilitate terminal extraction work required due to mistakes or the like when terminals are inserted. Background technique [0002] Figure 14 is a sectional view of a conventional connector such as that described in Patent Document 1, and Figure 15 is the front view of the connector. [0003] Such as Figure 14 and Figure 15 As shown, the connector generally includes a connector housing 101 having a terminal receiving chamber 102 and a terminal (in the illustrated example, a female terminal) 110 inserted into the terminal receiving chamber 102 . Each terminal accommodating chamber 102 has a flexible lance 105 inside. When the terminal 110 is inserted into the terminal accommodating chamber 102 from the rear, the terminal 110 reaches a predetermined position while pushing the lance 105 upward. When the terminal reaches the predetermined position, the lance 105 returns to the original posi...
