Abstract

The invention provides a cell handover method, cell handover equipment and a cell handover system for a communication system supporting carrier aggregation. The cell handover method comprises the following steps of: when a terminal in the communication system moves to the edge of a current serving cell, selecting one or more of one or more neighbor cells as measuring object(s) in carrier aggregation ways of the one or more neighbor cells; measuring the performance of the measuring objects to obtain one or more measurement results by using the terminal; and transmitting the one or more measurement results to a source base station currently serving the terminal as performance measurement reports of the one or more neighbor cells. The invention also provides cell handover equipment for the communication system supporting the carrier aggregation, the terminal comprising the equipment and the communication system comprising the terminal.
