Problems solved by technology

[0014] In the current standardization discussion, there is no specific method to select a subset from the CSI-RS measurement set as the CSI-RS report set, and to transmit the signaling related to this selection between the base station equipment and the user equipment , this problem constitutes the main research content of the present invention

example 1

[0093] In this example, the report set obtaining unit 230 of the user equipment may cooperate with the receiving unit 210 and the sending unit 250 to obtain the CSI-RS report set. In this case, the sending unit 250 of the user equipment may be configured to send the metric information obtained by the measuring unit 220 to the base station. Correspondingly, the receiving unit 350 of the base station may be configured to receive the metric information from the user equipment.

[0094] Specifically, the sending unit 250 of the user equipment may send the measurement information to the base station device through the layer 1 PUCCH or the aperiodic PUSCH, or the layer 2 MAC signaling, or the layer 3 RRC signaling or a combination of the above signaling. Metric information corresponding to multiple CSI-RS formats can be jointly coded end-to-end according to the order of the measurement set notification to form a data block and reported to the base station equipment together, or can ...

example 2

[0121] In this example, the report set obtaining unit 230 of the user equipment may determine the CSI-RS report set by itself. In this case, the report set obtaining unit 230 is configured to select a CSI-RS report set from the CSI-RS measurement set according to the metric information.

[0122] Specifically, the report set obtaining unit 230 determines the CSI-RS report set according to the metric information obtained by the measuring unit 220 . The specific manner of determining the CSI-RS report set is similar to the manner in which the report set obtaining unit 330 of the base station equipment determines the CSI-RS report set in Example 1, the only difference is that the CSI-RS report set is determined at the user equipment.

[0123] Correspondingly, the report set obtaining unit 330 of the base station may cooperate with the receiving unit 350 to determine the CSI-RS report set. In this case, the receiving unit 350 of the base station is further configured to receive CSI-...

example 3

[0134] The difference between this example and the foregoing example 2 is that, in this example, the feedback resource determining unit 240 of the user equipment determines the required CSI feedback resources by itself.

[0135] In this example, as described above, the CSI-RS measurement set configuration signaling sent by the sending unit 310 of the base station and received by the receiving unit 210 of the user equipment includes an indication of available CSI feedback resources.

[0136] Therefore, the feedback resource determining unit 240 of the user equipment may be configured to determine the CSI feedback resource corresponding to the CSI-RS format in the CSI-RS report set according to the indication of the available CSI feedback resource.

[0137] In this case, the sending unit 250 of the user equipment may also be configured to send CSI feedback resource notification signaling to the base station, where the CSI feedback resource notification signaling includes an indic...

Abstract

The invention provides a method for feeding back channel state information (CSI), comprising the following steps of: receiving a CSI reference signal CSI-RS (CSI-Reference Signal) measurement set configuration signaling from a base station, and the CSI-RS measurement set configuration signaling comprising indications which aim at a CSI-RS measurement set configured by a user device; measuring the CSI-RS in the CSI-RS measurement set according to the indications of the CSI-RS measurement set to obtain metrics corresponding to the format of the CSI-RS in the CSI-RS measurement set; obtaining a CSI-RS report set which is selected from the CSI-RS measurement set according to the metrics; determining a CSI feedback resource corresponding to the format of the CSI-RS in the CSI-RS report set; and using the determined CSI feedback resource to feed back the CSI corresponding to the format of the CSI-RS in the CSI-RS report set to the base station. As well, the invention also provides the corresponding user device and the base station.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the technical field of communication, and more specifically, to a method for feeding back channel state information, user equipment and a base station, which are especially suitable for coordinated multi-point transmission scenarios. Background technique [0002] 3GPP (Third Generation Partnership Project) organization is an international organization in the field of mobile communication, which plays an important role in the standardization of 3G cellular communication technology. The 3GPP organization began to design EUTRA (Evolved Universal Mobile Telecommunications System and Terrestrial Radio Access Network) and EUTRAN (Evolved Universal Mobile Telecommunications System Network and Terrestrial Radio Access Network) from the second half of 2004. This project is also known as LTE (Long Term Evolution aka LTE Rel-8) project. In April 2008, the 3GPP organization started to discuss the standardization of the 4G cellular...
